What's New?

I apologize for the lack of new content on my blog lately. I have returned to work full time and at the moment there just don’t seem to be enough hours in the day. After I get used to the new pace, I am sure it will be different.

We have made a trip back to Terrace to prepare the other house for winter as it has still not sold. We brought back a few more of my things to make living here a lttle more comfortable until we make the final move.

I have not been able to finish any new artwork to post on The Creaky Easel with all the changes in my personal life. I have had out of town visitors to entertain, my son lost his job, went to rehab and has since gone to jail for not paying a traffic fine from just over a year ago. The good part of that is that he will be clean and sober after 30 days and will be able to start fresh.

All of this stuff does not seem to be as easy to cope with as it was when I was younger. It saps my energy and plays havoc with my fibromyalgia.. My husband works long hours and has become accustomed to my making his lunches and preparing the meals and doing the housework. I have always allowed him to wear his work boots in the house and then cleaned up the evidence after he heads off to work. I am sure wishing now that I had put my foot down about the little things a few years ago! I hope you will visit again and I will do my best to keep a more consistent flow.
